Technology Plan Review

$3,000 per location

Before the build.

We read the plans and the vendor quotes for one store. We check them against what the store needs to open: cabling, internet, network, checkout, kitchen systems, and screens. Then we set who owns each task, and by when.

What's included

  • One location and one set of plans.
  • Up to four vendor packages: quotes, drawings, scopes.
  • A kickoff call.
  • Up to two 30-minute calls with your vendors.
  • One set of findings.
  • One round of corrections.
  • A handover call with your team.

What you get

  • A marked-up plan.
  • A vendor responsibility list: who does what.
  • A priority issue list.
  • Key dates, and the checks that go with them.

Timing

Set once we have the records and the people. Most reviews take two weeks.

Not included

  • Site visits.
  • Added plan versions.
  • Design or engineering work.
  • Vendor fees.

The KeyDate Buildout

$12,500, up to 10 locations

For a wave of stores. Two weeks, fixed scope.

We check the plan for every store in the wave. We interview your vendors, test one store on site, and sit with your three seat owners. You keep the process your team runs on every opening after this one. It is not ten Technology Checks. It is the plan and the process for the wave, with one store proven on site.

What you keep

  • The issue list, with proof, a named owner, and a written fix for each item.
  • Your opening checklist, built for your systems and your vendors.
  • The vendor questions.
  • The opening-day plan, with your times in it.
  • The team handover.
  • The 30-day check.

The Delivery Guarantee

You get the agreed materials, or the second half ($6,250) isn't owed.

Scope

Up to 10 locations. Up to 5 vendor interviews. One store tested on site, on the first store in the wave that is ready to test. 45 minutes with each of your three seat owners. A live readout. More stores tested on site: $3,500 each. Add-ons for bigger waves are on the Buildout page.

Ongoing help

When you want someone to own the list, or run the opening.

Governance: $2,500 a month, to opening day

Your team runs the opening. We own the issue list. We chase owners, update dates, and flag what moved.

What a month looks like: a weekly 30-minute review of the list with your owners. The list updated and back in your inbox every week. A call the day anything moves. And we are on the phone opening weekend.

Fractional lead: $8,000 a month, three-month minimum

We run the opening. The plan, the vendors, the go/no-go call, the date. 15 to 20 hours a week, so you can open five or more stores a year without adding IT staff. Governance is included.

Chain-wide checkout, payments, and PCI programs are quoted on their own, from $30,000.

Which one? Governance: your team runs the opening, and we own the list. Fractional: we run the opening, and we own the date. We settle that at a readout, not before.

What we check.

More than internet and payments.

  • Cabling
  • Internet and the backup line
  • Network and Wi-Fi
  • Checkout and payments
  • Kiosks and self-order
  • Kitchen screens and printers
  • Menu boards and media
  • Phones
  • Traffic counters and other connected devices

KeyDate plans, coordinates, and checks the work. Your vendors supply and install the equipment. They handle specialist setup and fixes.

Scope and payment.

How does $4,500 for one Check fit with $12,500 for ten stores?

They are different depths. A Technology Check is two days of hands-on work at one store: we test the systems ourselves. The Buildout is two weeks across the wave: we check every store's plan on paper, interview the vendors and your seat owners, test one store on site, and build the process your team runs on the rest. Want more stores proven on site? Add a Check for each one, $3,500 on the same trip.

Buildout, like the construction build-out?

No. Your contractor builds the store. The KeyDate Buildout builds the way you open it: the issue list, the checklist, the vendor questions, and the opening-day plan. Two weeks, up to 10 stores, one store tested on site.

Are the prices fixed?

Yes, for the scope shown. If the scope grows, the add-ons apply. The rate does not move.

How does payment work?

Checks and Plan Reviews: half to book, half on the report. The Buildout: half at kickoff, half at the readout. Governance and Fractional: monthly, in advance.

What if we need more than the scope?

Added work needs written approval before it starts. Extra stores, visits, or checks are priced from the add-on tables above.

Do you guarantee the store opens with no problems?

No one can. A Check tells you what is ready and what is not, before opening day. The Buildout comes with the Delivery Guarantee: the agreed materials, or the second half isn't owed.

Do you travel?

We are on site in metro Atlanta. Everywhere else, we direct your crew by video and phone, or we travel at cost.

No prep. We walk through one store that is opening or switching soon. The next business day you get the 3 to 5 issues we would fix first, in writing. You keep the list.
